"I call my work expressionistic. Instinctively, I use shapes and color to say what I need to say. I am stimulated by visual images that have emotional feelings attached. The work I do speaks of my background, my family, and my struggle to find peace within. I feel the greatest power is love. The energy from this feeling guides my hand. I want to move people emotionally, sharing the excitement I feel and beauty I see."
